International Experience - Scambi Culturali Apartment Edition


Responsibilities and activities
  • Teach English to kids aged 6 to 14 in Italian Summer Camps up to 20 hours per week, for 5 days a week.
  • Teach English through games, sports and songs in different camp locations, where tutors will be driven by the camp staff.
  • Teach English grammar with the material provided.
  • Be prepared on the pre-departure and teaching material provided before arrival in Italy.
  • Create new activities for the kids.
Who can be a counselor in Italy English native speakers aged 20 to 35 years old, with a college degree or at least college students. Alternatively, a TEFL certificate or a previous camp experience are accepted as well. Counselors have to be in very good physical health and have lots of enthusiasm and energy to share with the kids.

Apartment Edition

Counselors attend a short orientation course upon their arrival in order to have an idea of what to expect at camp.

They stay for 4 weeks in shared apartments, sharing this wonderful and challenging experience, and travel daily with the camp staff to reach the camp locations in the area, where the activities take place.

Duration 4 weeks.
Start date June 5th – July 4th, 2020
Location Marche region, in one one of the following towns: Porto Sant’Elpidio, Macerata, Fermo, Civitanova Marche, Pedaso, Porto Potenza Picena.
Accommodation In shared apartments or dorms, shared bedrooms.
Camp Locations In different towns of Marche region.
  • Camp counselor position prior to departure.
  • Accommodation: shared bedrooms in shared apartments or dorms.
  • Lunch during camp days.
  • Transportation from Rome International Airport to final location and back on the designed dates and time.
  • Transportation from Accommodation to camp locations (unless at a walking distance).
  • A one-day orientation course upon arrival.
  • Professional Italian staff to provide supervision and guidance throughout your stay.
  • Pre-departure material and useful orientation information.
