The “Language Tutor Program” is an Exchange Visitor Program that allows you to discover Italy and the real Italian culture by living with an Italian host family as an English/Spanish tutor. This informal teaching program serves as a cultural and language exchange between you and an Italian host family.
Your room and board is provided in exchange for 15 hours of language tutoring per week, mostly on weekdays. Responsibilities include preparing lessons and helping the family with their conversational skills. Schedules are arranged with your host family on arrival. Your time off is yours to sightsee, enjoy local culture, make new friends, and work on your own Italian language skills.
